I was lucky enough to see Brendan Dawes speak at Flash on the Beach last week and i cam away full of idea’s and wanting to get pencil to paper, I went out and got his new book Analog In, Digital Out: Brendan Dawes on Interaction Design and I read a couple of chapters last night and one was on part of the talk he did, which was great, he rigged up a house hold doorbell to his PC to tell him when a vistor went to his site and he did this using a tool from MakingThings.com, which is some hardware that connects to your USB port and you can interact with hardware from a flash movie.
